White House Decries 'Democrat Hoax' as Additional Jeffrey Epstein Images Released

Democratic lawmakers have published a fresh batch of what they termed "troubling" images from the estate of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The initial drop of 19 photographs—a portion of which have been previously circulated—plus another 70 unveiled later on Friday constitute a small number of the almost 100,000 images provided to the House oversight committee, which is looking into the actions and ties of Epstein.

The fallen money manager was a victim of apparent suicide in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking offenses.

Notable Figures in the Images

Included in the high-profile individuals visible in the initial batch are public figures such as film director Woody Allen; Microsoft founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, creator of the Virgin business group.

Donald Trump is featured in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is photographed with six women, whose faces are obscured.

White House Reaction

The White House responded to the release in a statement, accusing Democrats of purposefully "hand-picking" the pictures for electoral motives and to "seek to establish a false account."

"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been consistently disproven," an administration official said, maintaining that "the Trump administration has achieved more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have at any point by repeatedly calling for openness, releasing reams of records, and calling for additional probes into Epstein's Democratic associates."

Democratic Lawmaker Remarks

The photos were released lacking captions, but per a California Democrat and senior member of the oversight committee, they elicit additional doubts about Epstein's links with wealthy individuals.

"It is time to stop this White House obfuscation and deliver justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his well-connected allies," he stated in a release.

The release of these materials occurs alongside the oversight committee proceeding with its investigation into the Epstein matter.
