In a bizarre collaboration that breaks conventional expectations, Ubisoft has announced an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Revealed

According to the formal statement, "A strange meeting pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of prohibited practices and monstrous changes reverberate through the obscurity." The plot introduces a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a secret sect.

The questline centers on "bizarre trials and a fearsome foe" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Transformations

The preview showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer finishes with a striking moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Rewards and Extra Material

Players who finish the mission will acquire an unique katana together with several artifacts hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
